About Freewarding

How free you actually are, in seven domains you rank yourself.

Why it exists

People feel stuck in one or more parts of their life (money, time, body, attention, emotions, relationships, authenticity) and have no honest picture of which part is actually doing the trapping. Existing tools hand them a fixed wheel of life with equal-weight areas and then turn into a habit tracker with streaks and guilt, which is the opposite of feeling more in charge.

Who it is for

The ICP is full-time salaried employees, typically 28–50 years old, working structured 9-to-5 roles in mid-to-large organisations, who feel quietly trapped by routine and obligation but cannot name which domain of life is actually doing the trapping. They already consume content about financial independence, early retirement, digital minimalism, or time autonomy, but have never had a single tool that maps all the domains at once and weights them by what they personally care about. They pay out of pocket and make the decision alone, usually on a phone in the evening; they are reachable through FIRE and intentional-living communities, via paid social on Meta, and through the amplifier network of newsletter writers and community moderators in those spaces.

When I get to the end of another week that my job and my obligations decided for me, I want to see exactly where my freedom is constrained and change one concrete thing, so I can feel I am steering my own life again instead of just enduring it.

What it does

  • Freedom Assessment
  • Your Freedom Map
  • Freedom Experiments
  • The 30-Day Re-Check
  • Your Map, Yours to Keep

What makes it different

The map is weighted by the user's own ranking of what freedom means to them, and it shows which domain is pulling on which, in one plain sentence. It runs in a browser with nothing to download, it costs $9/month, and it is re-checked on a calm 30-day rhythm instead of a daily score. No streaks, no daily number, nothing to keep up with.
